SpinPlus 9, an intelligent data reader for registering spinning mills production and stoppage data online. It is a replacement for conventional mechanical production hank meters. This universal production meter can be connected to the department of Blow Room, Carding Comber, Drawing, Simplex, Spinning and Doubling and etc.,
In its inbuilt memory, latest 9 shift production and machine stoppage data stored. Touch button Switches are provided to view the present and past shift production related data by the user at any point of time. For each shift, the information are stored:
Delivery Length /Hank
Number of Doffs
Machine on Time
Speed in terms of RPM
Delivery Rates in terms of MPM
Machines Stoppages
With respect to stoppages data, electricity failure is recorded as power failure, Doff Time is recorded. All other stoppages are recorded as ‘machine failure’ with start time and stop time of such failure to each machine.
For Spinning and Simplex department, management can view Doff Time variation report to control thereby to improve productivity.
Serial communication port is available to automate its stored data to computer. Using this serial communication port and communication cable, any number of SpinPlus 9 machines can be serially connected from one to another and finally to computer.
SSEL has developed interface software to automate production and stoppage data from Spinplus 9 to computer with very good added facilities to fix machine stoppages to suitable stoppage reason.
